The flea market is magic to us. Sacred to us. A million things all wrapped up in one word, one place. A place that moves and breathes. A place that travels with you like your address. For over twenty years, this magical place has been our Disneyworld, our business school, our safe place, our wild place, our inspiration, our salvation. Our moveable feast. No one ever said, “Sure, start a multi-million dollar business out of the flea market, in the dirt and the grime and the grit.” But that’s what we did. Part accidentally, and part full throttle chasing down a dream. The flea market is Nirvana for people like us with over-active personalities and relentless creative genes; it’s continually changing, from one hour to the next. Something leaves. Something arrives. People come, people go. It’s dynamic. It’s diverse. It’s wild uncharted territory. It’s a world where we can be Thelma and Louise and Indiana Jones all at the same time. It’s a world where you can be anything you want. Anything you need. What’s your big ol’ dream kid? And which way ya gonna go?
