From the time Amie and Jolie Sikes were little girls in Overton, Texas, they knew the value of a dollar and the allure of a great piece of junk. Visiting flea markets with their mom, Janie, the girls each got a couple of dollars to spend on anything they wanted. Now known as the Junk Gypsies, they have turned careful flea market buying into a thriving business, and they say they can’t imagine their life without it.
