Thelma’s Garage is our spirit animal. This little garage rehab has ended up being one of our favorite things we’ve ever done. Our goal was to pay tribute to the true spirit of Thelma & Louise and the writer Callie Khouri (who happens to be a Texas girl!). The space has a dark, moody industrial chic feel with a heavy dose of vintage finds and one-of-a-kind projects.
From vintage carousel light bars hanging overhead to a full wall mural of Brad Pitt, to handmade chandeliers made out of old tire inner tubes (that look more like black leather) to our double bath tubs, the space feels unlike anything we’ve done before. We wanted it to feel like you’re rollin’ down one of those lost highways with the wind in your hair, best friend riding shotgun, leaving all your cares behind, and we kind of think it does.
